JJF2015 in Koriyama

Jugglers face each other one-on-one in a battle format, juggling to music selected by the DJ. Jugglers will not know which songs will be played.

The outcome is determined by a discussion by the judges and a show of hands, first with a preliminary round and then with a tournament style format.

To be held with up to 30 participants. Along with the music supplied by the DJ, jugglers perform in turn for 40 seconds each. The best 16 are selected for the tournament by the judges.

A tournament held for the best 16 selected through the preliminary. The best 16 and best 8 will be held as single 40 second round for each participant. Participants can choose to go first, however if no decision is made the first participant will be chosen by spinning a bottle. The best 4/finals will be held as two 40 second rounds for each participant. After a 40 second round, the song will be changed. The victor will be decided by the raising of hands by the judges.

The DJ will select songs at random. Styles include hiphop, house, funk, soul etc.
