Juggling Unit Fratres
Juggling Unit Fratres

Formed in 2014 by a group of jugglers active in the Kansai region at the call of its president, Naoto Miyata.

It is a juggling stage performance group that uses juggling props as the main axis of stage art, and creates works with its own unique method that makes extensive use of words and things.

The group's name "Fratres" is derived from Arvo Pärt's "Fratres". It is a piece for a chamber ensemble, and the name reflects the group's policy of performing as an ensemble with other performing arts, with a focus on juggling, in a chamber (=theater) setting.
